Story

May 15, 2019, the birthday of Mikhail Bulgakov, for the first time, “Run” will be played at the Art Theater. Never before this play about the defeat of the White Army and the tragedy of emigration was not staged here, although it was written specifically for the Moscow Art Theater in 1928, but, forbidden by censorship, saw the light of the ramp only during the “thaw” and not on the Mkhatov scene.
This performance is the second appeal of Sergei Zhenovach to the drama of Bulgakov at the Art Theater.
