The performance based on the play by Yevgeny Shvarts resembles the movie of the same name in 1966, and your favorite actors breathed new emotions into the characters. From the first minutes the attention of the audience is captured by the Blizzard, it whirls and sweeps, blinds the eyes - it seems that this is the most physically difficult role in the play and Nadezhda Karpukhina plays it. My new sympathy in this theater - Miroslav Bestaev, first saw him in the production of “Alice Through the Looking Glass” as the White Knight, in this tale he is also white and very cold, he is the Counselor, although it seems that the Snow King. Raven and Johannes are two funny characters, and Pavel Simonov showed them, it seems that any of his roles exude humor and attract the viewer. Natalya Nebalueva is the most fantastic actress, just such a person I imagined Alice, Marie, the Little Witch, all her heroines are fragile, but strong-willed girls, like Gerda. Alexander Yushin has the role of a storyteller, but besides storytelling, he fights with swords, spies and masterfully reincarnates as a robber. And now about the main character, how do you see yourself the Snow Queen? I always imagined her angry, calculating and resembling an ice floe, but in Evgenia Voitsekhovskaya she is not like that. Cold, deadpan, but not angry. It was unusual for me, although perhaps this is how the Snow Queen should be seen by children who first become acquainted with this fairy tale. There is a minimum of scenery on the stage, but the wonderful work of the artists and the exciting plot overshadow everything. I noticed that many artists are involved in the play in several roles at once, and I want to say that this is “aerobatics”, because you need to have time not only to change clothes, but also to change the makeup. Music, video sequences, poems that sound in the play are all very harmonious. I really liked the game of Victor Kuzin and Alexander Yushin (Beatty). Are there many of us, rioters, and will we have enough strength not to turn into a controlled dull herd? Look, think ...
