Amadeus returns to the Moscow scene! At the Nikitsky Gate Theater, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Mark Rozovsky staged the famous play by P. Schaeffer, one of the “pearls” of drama of the 20th century. The play "Amadeus" is a modern view of the eternal conflict of Mozartianism and Salierism, the creator and artisan, love and envy.
One of the main characters of the play is Mozart's music, which will become a weighty argument in the dispute of mediocrity and genius. The performance is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding actor of our time, People's Artist of the USSR Oleg Tabakov, who has brilliantly performed the role of Salieri for more than 30 years.
