Waltz was destined to become the ruler of thoughts on the European dance scene. Waltz flourished in the 19th century, although even now the waltz remains one of the most important traditional dances. Originating in Vienna, the dance spread throughout Europe, including in Russia. The concert is dedicated to the existence of this dance in our country. The evening will feature well-known Russian waltzes from operas, ballets, popular waltzes of the last and last century, waltzes from musicals and movies. A significant part of the program will be the famous “classical” waltzes: waltzes by Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Glazunov, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Khachaturian. The dance suite will be performed by the ensemble for the ensemble of soloists “Piano-Trio” and singers-soloists of Moskontsert - Irina Sukhanova and Alexander Gladkov.
