The name of the famous cello work by PI Tchaikovsky "Pezzo Capriccioso" can be translated as "a whimsical piece". The intriguing title, as well as the general virtuosity of the piece, written surprisingly quickly - in just one week - earned it a well-deserved popularity among performers and listeners. But the reason for its creation was a tragic event, and it is this combination of mental pain and technical difficulties that creates a special effect that makes a strong impression.
