Story
A performance based on Ray Bradbury's novel
In the 1960s, when Ray Bradbury's book "451 degrees Fahrenheit" appeared in Russia, everyone read it, it was passed from hand to hand. Today, forty years later, the Moscow Theater Et Cetera undertook to reread this cult novel and discovered that in the predictions of the famous American science fiction our today's problems common to all the inhabitants of the world are emerging.
Bradbury tells a fantastic story as quite real, exciting, as an action-packed detective ...
The accidental meeting of a young girl and a fireman burning a book, explodes the programmed life of the city, where people live who perform exclusively other people's teams, survive only other people's dramas, looking at the big screens of televisions placed everywhere. Everyone who desires to break out of the program is doomed. And yet a person decides to revolt. His story is a story of insight and love, finding freedom to think, feel, this is the story of chase and death.
Fire, devouring culture, is a metaphor from which the world of Bradbury emerges. And this fantastic and so frighteningly real world of Bradbury arises on stage, giving viewers a chance to hear a warning from a transatlantic thinker.

“ I liked the performance. There is no intermission, which is very pleased. There were many high school students. Excellent game actors, especially pleased Igor Yatsko. The only drawback is the awfully uncomfortable armchairs-benches in the dressing-gown.
“ A little tired monologues of the main characters, but in general the performance was like.
“ 9/10 It is difficult to put such a book. And not only because of its content, but also because of its popularity. This is not Chekhov / Ostrovsky / Shakespeare, which is already ready for the production. Too much of his forced to bring the director, so that "real" fans of the source were happy. Guy is good at his ordinary. In his place could be any man. If he meets his Clarissa, of course. A chance meeting is often fatal. The main thing is not to turn away in response to a greeting. And I was sorry for the brigadier. Because he understood, but there was no power to change anything. Like that professor ... The music was piercing, tragic, strong.
