On a magical spring evening, under the majestic and ancient vaults of the Lutheran Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul (Petrikirche), located in the very heart of historical St. Petersburg, with its perfect acoustics and unique atmosphere, will sound the true masterpieces - "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi. Four violin concertos from the cycle "The Dispute of Harmony with Invention", some of his most famous works and some of the most famous pieces of music in the Baroque style. Each concert is dedicated to one season of the year, each consists of three parts, the outer parts are fast and the middle part is slow. The composer prefaced each of the concerts with a sonnet - a kind of literary program. It is assumed that the author of the poems is Vivaldi himself.
