The fate of world cinema is ruled not only by eminent actors and directors, but also great composers. It is the music in the cinema that sets the "atmospheric accents" and enhances its magic. Favorite melodies from legendary films remain in memory forever. The New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Nicola Giuliani, will present metropolitan music lovers with an amazing evening of Ennio Morricone soundtracks. Among all film composers, he is the undisputed leader in the number of written music for films. Winner of two Oscar awards - for outstanding achievements in cinema and for best music - to the “Abominable Eight” (2016), 9-time laureate of the Italian national film award “David di Donatello” for the best music for the film, three-time winner of the Golden Globe Award ”, A 6-time BAFTA award winner and many others, he has created around 500 soundtracks. This evening, viewers are waiting for some of his most famous film works. Maestro Nicola Giuliani, known for his large-scale projects, defines the "video part" itself, this time including frames and photographs for the following films:
- "Spaghetti Westerns" directed by S. Leone "Good, Bad, Evil" (1966) and Once Upon a Time in the Wild West (1969), For a Handful of Dynamite (1971) and the gangster film Once Upon a Time in America (1984) ;
- the criminal drama “The Untouchables” (1987) directed by B. De Palma about the confrontation between a group of US agents and the gangster empire Al Capone;
- the film "New Cinema" Paradiso "(1988) directed by J. Tornatore, who won the Oscar and Felix;
- the film R. Joffe "Mission" (1986) about the Spanish Jesuits, who came to the defense of the Indians;
- musical drama Legend of the Pianist (1998) by Italian director J. Tornatore.
