"Pippi Longstocking" is a wonderful story about a girl who was able to realize the dream of all children: to do what she wants, and not what her elders say. The famous book by Astrid Lindgren appeared thanks to the daughter of the writer, Karin. When the girl fell ill with pneumonia, every evening her mother told her all sorts of stories before going to bed, one of them was the story of Pippi Longstocking - a girl who does not obey any rules and conventions.
The Tale of Pippi has been on the theater stage and on television many times, but its most famous version is the most popular musical film with songs by composer Vladimir Dashkevich to the verses of Yuli Kim. And only in the Children's Musical Theater of a Young Actor they play the full version of this musical by Dashkevich - Kim. The main roles here are played by children, who are in no way inferior to adult artists in the naturalness of reincarnation and emotional dedication.
Red pigtails, laughing eyes, a freckled face and a kind, fair heart - this is the heroine you will see on stage. Of course, Pippi has drawbacks: she is a fidget, slob, gourmet, loves to lie, but which of us did not suffer from such "illnesses" in childhood?
