Summer Music Festival "Classics in Kuskovo" Opening
Frederic Chopin
Executor: Evgeny Starodubtsev (piano)
The more we move away from the era of romanticism, the brighter the halo of exceptional talent and individuality of its representatives becomes. The life story of the great Polish composer Frederic Chopin is touching to the core. This unusually gifted, charming romantic with exquisite manners and a sensitive heart for all the short years of his life allotted to him by heaven never really experienced a feeling of real happiness. He has always been a favorite of the public and an object of adoration of numerous female fans, who now and then bombarded him with expensive gifts. However, in his personal life, this inspired lyricist was deeply unhappy - his heart was torn apart by pain, longing for the Motherland, torment from a terrible illness and unhappy love ... Chopin's style, which focused almost exclusively on piano music, is surprisingly harmonious, combining French refinement and reliance on Polish folklore.
