On October 2, 2018 the orchestra of the Center of Opera Singing Galina Vishnevskaya marks the first anniversary - 5 years from the date of foundation.
In the festive concert, the orchestra will perform masterpieces of Russian and foreign classics.
Five years ago, in 2013, the Center of Opera Singing Galina Vishnevskaya, a decade after the opening,
found one of the main components of any opera house - his own orchestra.
In its composition after a complex competitive selection included both experienced musicians and talented young people,
graduates of the largest music universities in Russia and laureates of international competitions.
Since the first days of creation, the orchestra has received recognition not only from the public, but also from critics. "Adjusted balance of timbres,
expressive solo of individual instruments and groups allow us to speak about the appearance of a new collective of a very worthy level,
- wrote about the orchestra magazine "Musical Life".
For five years, the orchestra has mastered the extensive repertoire of the musical theater, which includes operas Rigoletto by G. Verdi, Carmen by J. Bizet,
"Pagliacci" by R. Leoncavallo, "La Boheme" by G. Puccini, "Ruslan and Lyudmila" by M. Glinka, "Boris Godunov" by M. Mussorgsky,
"The Tsar's Bride" by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, "Eugene Onegin" and "Iolanta" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Aleko" by S. Rachmaninov and others.
Also the collective declared itself as an independent creative unit, speaking with programs of instrumental music.
Among the major projects of the orchestra is the gala concert in honor of the 200th anniversary of G. Verdi in the Concert Hall named after P. I. Tchaikovsky,
performance on the Red Square of the Moscow Kremlin, participation in the project of the TV channel "Culture" "The Great Opera"
tours in many cities of Russia and abroad.
In two sections of the concert to the five-year anniversary of the orchestra of the Center of Opera Singing Galina Vishnevskaya, overtures and fragments will sound
from the popular operas of Russian and Western European composers, symphonic works, as well as instrumental concerts
performed by the orchestra artists. Behind the conductor's panel this evening the audience will see Alexander Solovyov,
cooperating with such groups as the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater, the Russian National Orchestra,
Symphony Orchestra of the Czech Radio, and chief conductor of the Tomsk Academic Symphony Orchestra Yaroslav Tkalenko.
