Life for art or art for life?

The play based on the play by the Finnish playwright Anna Krogerus raises the theme of creative interaction with reality.

The actors are preparing for a new production. But not everything goes smoothly: the participants find it difficult to enter the role, to feel the image conceived by the director. In order to cope with the task, the heroes-actors draw their experience from life.

So biographical material, real events become that clay, from which sculpted artistic images. And lived on the stage, on the contrary, helps to comprehend what is happening in everyday life.

So the life of an actor fluctuates: from what is felt on the stage, to what is experienced behind the scenes. The viewer, of course, will see only the first part, but the second will certainly be reflected in it ...
