Балет Письма с фронта6+
Story
THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY AND THE DAY OF CHILDREN'S PROTECTION DEDICATED
The libretto of the play "Letters from the Front" is based on genuine letters from the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The letters, behind which are real, sometimes tragic fates of ordinary people, who are on the verge of life and death. These letters in the play will be read by young actors of the Moscow theaters and addressed to today's viewers. The play was created as a synthesis of various genres: modern plastics, choreography, drama, vocal-instrumental, pictorial and cinematographic arts. The play is based on the music of Valery Gavrilin - an original composer who possessed a special artistic manner of utterance, based on half-village, half-city, song and romance elements. The novelty of his music perfectly coexists with the archaic, thanks to which unique artistic images are created in their depth and shrillness. The play also features fragments of military songs by Moscow composers who participated in the war: Andrei Eshpai, Konstantin Listov, Ian Frenkel and others.
