"Small joys are more important than big ones."
Dad taught his daughter to enjoy everything, every minute of life.
He was a priest in a poor parish. They lived very modestly. Her mom died when Polianna was very young.
She once asked her father to buy her a doll. He had no money and he turned to one of the parishioners of the church. And she brought crutches! But she and her daughter just laughed.
The girl was eleven, her dad died. She was sent to live to a lonely and harsh aunt, her mother's sister, whom she had never seen.
Polyanna Aunt settled in the attic, fed bread and milk. There is not even a mirror in her room!
But most of all, the girl is upset by constant reproaches and insulting remarks. Why is my aunt so strict with her? She does not like children?
Polyanna taught the game about the search for joy to the servant aunt and other acquaintances.
They all fell in love with an orphan.
The day came when a big trouble knocked at their house. Will Polyanne cope with it?
When a lot of adversity, it is worth to appreciate every little thing.

“ I liked it very much
“ A wonderful, kind and sincere performance for the whole family. I recommend for family viewing.
“ The performance is heavy, filled with ambiguous allegories, obscure even for adults, sometimes deafening music and half of the performance takes place on the playgrounds behind the spectators. I expected a more positive performance, and this is a heavy drama.
