Mozart - "solar genius," the composer, whose very name became a symbol of genius giftedness. It is his heritage that will be devoted to the first concert of the summer festival "Classics in Kuskovo". The evening will sound both vocal and instrumental music

composer. In the performance of the ensemble "Orfarion" and Yana Ivanilova you will hear an overture to one of the last Mozart operas

"The Mercy of Titus" and the numbers from the famous comic opera "The Wedding of Figaro". The vocal line of the evening will be continued by two contrasting in nature songs - "To Chloe" and "Farewell Song." A piano quartet and a quartet for flute and strings will represent a different - instrumental - sphere of Mozart's creativity, and five counter-dances for the chamber staff will create the necessary arch with the beginning of the evening: the first of them is the author's treatment of the Figaro aria from "The Wedding of Figaro".

1) "Mercy of Titus" is an opera written in record time. According to some biographers of Mozart, the opera was completed in 18 days, and the recitatives were written by Süsmeier, a pupil of Mozart.

2) Mozart's piano quartet, which will be performed at the concert, is the first example of this genre. The most famous piano quartets will be created in the 19th century: works by Brahms, Dvorak, Foret.

3) The quartet for flute, violin, viola and cello was written for the amateur flutist Ferdinand de Jean. It is characteristic that works with wind instruments were created by Mozart for specific performers. For example, the clarinet quintet was created for the friend of Mozart, the clarinetist-virtuoso Anton Stadler.
