Wolf life is not only a wolf - a man sometimes lives like a dog, and howling with a wolf from that pain, from the grievances that happened to survive.
The twentieth century saw how cruelly dealt with aristocrats in Russia.
He who was born rich, saw how all the wealth and privileges flowed from his hands, how his father left and did not return (the Bolsheviks shot him), how he died - still quite young - his sister ...
He had to flee from Russia, and in exile, he encountered new cultural trends, including Freud's newfangled scandalous teaching. Very effective when you have to struggle with neuroses.
It's about time: the hero's troubled psyche has already begun to malfunction. He feels less and less man, more and more - a beast. Will Freud help him? ..
