They say that there was a girl who saw all the twelve months at once .... It was winter. One evening the evil stepmother opened the door, looked at the blizzard, and then went back to the warm stove and ordered her stepdaughter to go to the snow-covered forest to find spring snowdrops there ... The meek stepdaughter did not dare disobey the evil stepmother. It was here that miracles awaited her, because a miracle is nature itself, which responds to unselfishness and kindness, breaking its laws, revealing its secrets.

This amazing tale of S. Marshak, written more than 60 years ago, is about a miracle and magic, that not everyone can do it. The performance that for the evil, greedy, self-serving and deceitful stepmothers and daughters is a "miracle" is an opportunity to become richer, for a young, virgin queen - a whim, a whim, and for a stepdaughter the miracle comes by itself - all twelve months come to her aid in New Year's Eve, because she has a kind heart, she is honest, she feels the forest with her soul, he hears its inhabitants. And for her honesty, kindness and diligence the forest reveals its secrets to her.
