Why today appeal to the comedy of J.-B.Moiller of the 17th century? What does this inconvenient word "misanthrope" mean and what does the famous director Grigory Dityatkovsky put on the play?
Many blame misanthropes for total hatred of humanity, but often misanthropes are disenchanted idealists with a thin and vulnerable soul. The modern "fashion for positive", social networks, full of pictures "how I can be happy", advertising "active-positive-creative" give rise to a special caste of false-happy people. But in the 17th or 21st century - people remain people - with their fears, embarrassment and fatigue. Artificial patterns substitute true feelings, distort the true personality. Who are you today? What happens if someone accidentally hits your false joy? - and suddenly, like a bonfire, the real hatred of the modern "lucky ones" (and, in fact, sociophobes or sociopaths), which for its own "I" will not regret anybody! What is our play about? Of course, about the love that left the modern world in the lonely houses of the misanthropic haters ....
