Scientist Kot from the Pushkin magical land of Lukomorye invites children on their next musical journey - this time to the distant northern country of Norway - a country of rocks washed by the sea, a long winter with high snowdrifts and singing ice floes, a country of wonderful tales and legends. Together with the Scientist Cat, with the help of magical music, children learn that the dense Norwegian forests and harsh seas are inhabited by fairy creatures - elves, mermaids and water, gnomes, kobolds and trolls. The colorful music of the Norwegian composer Edward Grieg will tell about all this, revealing all the riches of fabulous Scandinavian folklore, telling about the adventures of heroes, treachery, devotion and kindness. Musical illustrations complement sand paintings that appear right in front of the audience. The program will include popular works: the famous march “Procession of the Dwarves”, “Song Solveig”, “In the Cave of the Mountain King”, children's songs. In the performance of famous musicians, small viewers will hear music in different genres - vocal and instrumental.
