There are many amazing places on earth. One of them is on a high mountain, in the sky itself, and this is the village of the Rovers. Life in these places is filled with mysticism and magic, and no longer understand where the fiction, and where the truth. Here birds speak like people, and the ghosts of the past influence the fate of lovers.

"The Village of Rope Walkers" - a new play by the theater "Open Space" staged by the famous Petersburg director Yana Tumin. The basis of the original story is the ancient traditions of the peoples of Dagestan, artistically reinterpreted by the authors of the play. An original reality has been created that is not tied to any particular culture, but at the same time it is recognizable, because history is universal, and there is no people who would not add up their own story about love and the importance of the family as a self-valuable world.

This is a play-parable, which will find a response in the hearts of the widest spectator: both children and adults.
