Each person has his own Gogol. And with each he speaks in his own way. With someone - about mystical Petersburg, where lonely people get lost in the fog; with someone - the right to dream, even if it was an overcoat; with someone - about the meaning of existence ... Someone recognizes surrounding people in his characters, someone loves a special Gogol humor and grotesque, but behind all this is the story of an individual - sometimes funny, strange and seemingly useless, sometimes selfish and petty, and sometimes childishly naive; the story of his dreams, feelings and doubts. Why is he such, why does the life of each of us develop in such a way and not otherwise? - the characters of the play “In One Department ...”, composed according to N.V. Gogol "Notes of a Madman" and "The Overcoat." And N.V. Gogol himself speaks with us about love - to this person, each other, to the world around us, to St. Petersburg, provoking the most incredible events that can happen ....
