“Sleeping Beauty” is a fairy tale about the beautiful Princess Aurora, whom the offended evil Fairy Caraboss prophesies to die from a prick with a knitting needle on the day of her majority.
Of course, Prince Desiree will destroy the spell of the villain Karaboss and a ball will begin in a fairyland. On the square in front of the palace of King Florestan, guests from all the wedding tales of Charles Perrault will gather:
Marquis Carabas with his Puss in Boots.
Princess Florina with a young man enchanted in the Blue Bird.
Little Red Riding Hood with a gray Wolf.
Villain Karaboss with her rats.
Four good fairies with retinues.
Each pair of characters has its own original musical and choreographic episode.
The premiere of the ballet on the stage of the Moscow Concert Hall will be presented by the Moscow State Theater of Classical Ballet Choreography (Moscow Ballet "La Classique"), directed by Elik Melikov.
