Today, when the "Cherry Orchard" finally found its House, the premiere of "Twelfth Night" marks a new stage in the creative life of the theater.
Completing the 2015 year, we thank for the love and support of our viewer, who was with us in this 20-year period of a difficult, but happy existence, and we give him three new plays at once: a comedy "Twelfth Night, or As You Like" W. Shakespeare, tragicomedy "Tango Butterflies" of the Italian playwright Aldo Nikolai and children's musical performance "Pippi Longstocking" by the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren.
The premiere of the comedy "Twelfth Night", the last jolly comedy by W. Shakespeare, related to the Christmas holidays and for several centuries admiring the audience and theatrical criticism of the whole world, is not accidental today opens our new big stage. A cheerful, joyful mood, the atmosphere of carnival-Christmas rallies and witty jokes, a happy intertwining of the comic and dramatic nuances of life - all this is needed today for the viewer and the theater. And so the new replenishment of the troupe of experienced masters of the "Cherry Orchard" by a group of young talented actors turned out to be very timely, which made it possible to more interestingly realize the artistic and staging idea of creating an elegant, light, witty performance.
