The male vocal trio "Relict" has been conquering the world for more than 25 years with its soulful song, "the high syllable of the Russian romance" and an unusually charming manner of performance, from which it breathes with warmth and humanity (not the most popular virtues today). It is no accident that the ensemble is called "Relict". The name is - according to Alexander Nikerov - "characterizes not a relic of a bygone era, but its legacy. Relic is something eternal. And it's not so important how many years for those songs that we perform, one hundred or two hundred, they will live the same. " Today the trio (in a new composition - with guitarist Alexei Leonov) performs at the leading stages of the country and abroad. His repertoire does not really have "one-time" songs, although the repertoire is unusually wide: folk songs, old romances, songs for Yesenin and Rubtsov's poems, Russian spiritual songs, works of vocal chamber classics, songs of the war years, as well as compositions by contemporary poets and composers, Specially written for "Relic". The perfectly verified combination of voices, the purity of tone, careful attitude to the word and melody, as a musical accompaniment - two guitars, real, not electric, with a wonderful romantic sound - all this meets an unusually warm welcome, where "Relict" would perform, be it The European capital or the Russian outback.
