J. Rossini. Opera in three acts Libretto: J. Ferretti Arias and ensembles are performed in Italian
The performance is a laureate of the National Theater Award "Golden Mask" and the Higher Theater Award of St. Petersburg "Golden Sofit"
To the Roman carnival of 1817, G. Rossini in a terrible hurry wrote the opera "Cinderella". Very tight deadlines did not prevent the appearance of another operatic masterpiece. Based on the fairy tale of Charles Perrault, the composer nevertheless significantly changed the plot, as he did not recognize any miracles and transformations on the stage. Even instead of the obligatory slipper (what kind of Cinderella without it!) Appeared a bracelet. Only the vanished vanity and all-conquering love remained unchanged. But the magic remains - it's in the music of Rossini.
As a result, the public accepted this new story of Cinderella and for almost 200 years she has been decorating the best opera scenes in the world.
