X Anuma - a spectacular performance about the clever tricks of a merry Georgian matchmaker who connected the hearts and hands of lovers.

In the play, many age roles, and for the first time in the history of the production, these roles were played by twenty-year-old artists who dedicated their work to G. A. Tovstonogov in memory of the legendary BDT play. In the play a lot of music, live vocals, dancing. A well-known director-choreographer G. Berdzenishvili offered his plastic solution to the play, giving the performance a unique Georgian flavor. For the first time, a unique character of this performance is a kinto group - Georgian market traders, singing songs, dancing lezginka, knowing and transmitting all the news from Tbilisi.

The performance "Hanuma" was invited to tour in St. Petersburg, in the BDT them. G.A. Tovstonogov, where he had deserved success and received a blessing from the first performer of the role of Khanuma, People’s Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Makarova and sister Georgiy Tovstonogov, Honored Art Worker Natella Tovstonogova. “Khanuma” passed with such a notice that at the request of the audience the young actors played an additional performance for those who could not get into the hall for the first show.

The BDT blessed the performance not only in words: the renowned theater presented the young artists with the costumes of that first “Khanumy”, and now the characters of Akop, Timote and the kinto choir play in the costumes of N. Trofimov, Y. Stoyanov and V. Kuznetsov.
