Unemployed musicians in search of work end up in a gangster showdown and, fleeing, get a job in a jazz group of girls departing on tour in Miami. Having dressed up in ladies' dresses from the funeral home, our heroes get from the gangster into a love affair. The train, racing away from the icy winds of Lake Michigan, bursts into Miami, the world of the American dream, scorching from the sun. But happiness, it turns out, is not where the sun and the sea with millionaires and romantic yachts. Happiness is where you can stop the train, get off and look the one and only in the eyes.
