Performance based on the story of the same name by Pavel Sanayev

"Pavel Sanaev wrote a cheerful and sad book about childhood, which immediately became a bestseller. Million copies, films ... The delight of readers - our and foreign ones. Our performance is the first production "Bury me behind the plinth" on the Moscow stage. I think this is the best work of our literature, so to speak, on the family theme - about the nightmare of the experiences of a child whose childhood is violated by violence, growing out of inordinate love, from the failure of adults - they are right and wrong all without exception, at the same time.

The life of children in an environment where the moral foundations are blurred turns into torture, and what we call a happy childhood turns out to be an unrealizable dream. A boy who is deprived of maternity is an object of violent grandmother's love - he lives at the crossroads of understandable, but completely destructive interests and feelings, so much so that all participants in this simple story become victims of each other. We feel sorry for everyone, but first we will be on the side of a small child who lives in a hostage. Nobody wants to give in and this mutual deafness leads to the madness and terrible suffering of all the parties to the conflict.

The main quality of Sanaa's prose is the tremendous recognition of the truth of everyday life, which turns into poetics, humor and lyricism of living human relationships, and gives the most serious reasons for thinking about the lack of sensitivity in matters of education. "
