“ The third evening I spent a trilogy at the theater! I'm glad that I was able to find an opportunity and see it that way - a trilogy. Magnificent acting, very fine director's work. Inserts from Chekhov's letters gave the effect of the sensation of what was just happening, about to be committed. And it's been more than a hundred years! It is in the trilogy that it becomes obvious how good-hearted, but completely unviable people were. Unable to even understand that their whole life is ending right now! The general impression of the performances is deep and serious plays about the causes of those destructive changes that occurred very soon. Actor V. Kishchenko and in the "Three Sisters", and in the "Cherry Orchard" showed other characters who are able not only to survive, but also to take advantage of the situation. While Lopakhins came to replace Gaev and Ranevsky, but there is also Petya, who also personifies other forces that have already appeared on the stage of history. The trilogy as a holographic image is an undeniable success. Many thanks for the three wonderful evenings!

“ Were at the play on 27.11.2016. The production really liked and left a lot of positive impressions after watching! Pleased with the talented and lively game of all actors, but especially I would like to highlight Julia Vysotskaya as the hostess of the estate Ranevskaya and Alexei Grishin as her brother Gayev (in another composition, his role is played by A. Domogarov). The first was very emotional, but did not overplay, but made genuinely empathize with the difficult fate of her character, while the second was so charmingly pronouncing her naively enthusiastic speeches, which aroused sympathy for the character. I also want to mention the game of Vitaliy Kishchenko, who so expressively showed the whole soul of the merchant Lopakhin in the final part of the play, putting sincere joy and pain into Chekhov's lines: "I bought an estate where my grandfather and father were slaves, where they were not allowed even into the kitchen." Unobtrusive scenery, well-chosen music and costumes nicely complemented the actors' play. The only controversial moment for me personally in this production is the insertion of Anton Chekhov's quotes between actions. Perhaps in order to understand the director's intention, you need to look at all three performances in the production of Andrei Konchalovsky, but seeing only one performance, there was a feeling of some artificiality of repeated use of this technique during the performance. Quotes help to understand what the author himself felt during the writing of the play, but to directly identify the personal moments of Chekhov's life with what he wanted to say in his work, in my personal opinion, is unnecessary. But, I repeat, this lack, or rather, a contentious element of action, does not in any way spoil the overall wonderful impression of viewing. As a result, not the most beloved work from the school program after viewing this performance opened up for me anew, expressively highlighting the characters and problems of the characters, and caused a desire to re-read the play itself more thoughtfully. I thank the director and actors for the great performance! If you want to see a comedy that is not easy and unencumbered by a deep sense and is ready to watch a serious and interestingly shown drama on a classical work, then I strongly recommend giving a view to viewing.
