It is strange to look at people who leave the performance during the intermission, leaving their negative comments along the way. The feeling that random people came to the gatherings. Here, one of the comments, read that the scene with the motorcycles is superfluous. Nothing extra! The point is that Christ, Mary Magdalene, Judas, having fulfilled his mission in that time, died. But their souls, already in a different body, have come to this earth in our time, and these are ordinary young people, in modern clothes, on motorcycles, living ordinary lives.

“ Good evening to everybody! I want to share my impressions of visiting the wonderful production of "Jesus Christ - Superstar" on October 5, 2016 in the Theater. Mossovet :) I'm very glad that my "adult, conscious" acquaintance with the theater began with this magical musical performance! First of all, such a bold, modern rock variation of an ancient biblical plot was struck. Here, and leather jackets, and a motorcycle right on the stage) And what are the main characters! Valery Anokhin is such a special Jesus. Adult, heartfelt, sincere. Particularly touched by his party at the beginning of the second act - the depth of the voice is prohibitive ... goosebumps ... Oh, this Judas performed by Valery Yaremenko captured my attention already at the very beginning of the play and did not let go until the very end! Valeria's game is amazing! Such a facial expression, dedication and immersion in the image, I have never seen. Throughout the performance there was no admiration from the ballet troupe! The dancers are all so young, beautiful, incendiary! In every movement - drive and energy. I want to thank the whole cast for the wonderful game! And I thank the whole theater to them. Mossovet for a cozy atmosphere :) memories of a warm evening with you in the shower :)

“ We went with a friend to the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar" to the Mossovet Theater. The first time we saw this rock opera in 1996 and, practically, every year we go to this play, we know by heart all the parties. For me, it's a classic, Each time some new sensations, a new perception of the play. It is very modern, you can draw parallels with our life. Although once, it seems to me, it is worth to go to this theater, precisely to this performance. I will definitely go again.

The plot is familiar to us, and in the opera the main thing is not the text, but emotions, which on the stage was quite abundant. If you need classical drama, then you will not find it in this production. This is Rock Opera. Here, most likely, you are immersed in a certain state similar to hypnosis or trance. The movements of the actors on the stage make you imperceptibly project the actions not by parts, but whole, absorbing a crowded composition inside yourself .... It is difficult to convey all the emotions in words. I only want to note that I really want to see the performance again, and maybe many more times. The bottom line: if you are an avid theatergoer, you will like it!
