The play "The Last Temptation of the Apostles", based on the poem "The Evening" by the Polish poet Ernest Bryl, is an actual interpretation of one of the most controversial episodes of the Gospel - Nights before the Resurrection, a play about a person's ability to believe, love and rise from his knees even after the most terrible life blows.

... After the Teacher's death on the cross, the confused and depressed future apostles spend a sleepless night in doubts and disputes, from which a sincere faith that can work miracles is born.

The poetic text of the play in the brilliant translation of Alla Akhundova is easily perceived thanks to the dramatic skill of the actors of the Theater, conveying subtle psychologism and a real storm of feelings in solving the issues of faith and betrayal, fear and self-denial, love and peace that always worry people.
