“ My wife and I went to the play, were very impressed! I note the director’s interesting idea - to present this production in a modern way, as they say “you won’t erase words from a song”, and here the verses remained unchanged, but the use of mobile phones, cameras and firearms brings it closer to the 21st century. The wonderful play of the actors, either pleases and amuses the viewer, then makes you sad and empathize with the loss of the main characters. Also, I remember very much the extraordinary transformation of Horatio into a woman and made laugh from the heart)))
“ To take for the production of such a great classic as William Shakespeare, and even so popular play "Hamlet", which put everything, everywhere and always - a very bold move! And to convey to the viewer the essence of the work through the prism of the life of a modern person, that is, as it were, the “today's” citizen behaved himself in this situation, having gadgets, headphones, firearms with him, is a very laborious work, with which, in my opinion, the team Theater "Compass" handled completely! A very interesting approach to creating characters, especially Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. I turned to the Internet, as in memory - these are two male friends. However, director Evgeny Shamray Rosenkrants made a girl! And indeed, in the play Rosencrantz is quite effeminate. In general, I liked the work! Thanks to the team! I recommend for viewing!
“ It has long been going to go to the theater. I thought to start with something light and chose the play "Hello, Yorick." Oh, how I was wrong! The performance draws attention completely, carries away at first a new idea of reading, then a play of light, and then you laugh at the amusing, and in a minute you are shaken by the monologue of the king's repentance. Huge amplitude of emotions! The actors have so much revived their heroes that their hearts are torn - you sympathize with Ophelia, you understand Hamlet, you get into the queen's agony ... Before this performance, I considered classical productions with elements of modernity vulgar. In the same performance, everything is so harmonious that it proves once again that the “classic” is relevant at all times. Many thanks to Evgeny Shamray, Actors, illuminators and everyone who took part in the creation of this Masterpiece! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
