Everyone demonstrates their tricks, which look old-fashioned, outdated. The clowns warm up. They rehearse a possible performance, and suddenly everything turns into farce and clownery, becomes so ridiculous that even death is not perceived as a drama ...

They gave themselves to their profession, sacrificed many to remain clowns if not on stage (they had not been invited for a long time to take part in the productions), then at least in the shower. Was it worth it? Has the devotion to the theater of life exalted Niccolo, Phillipo and Peppino, or, conversely, has vulgarized? Be that as it may, they are old clowns. Clowns and die.
