Bazarov did not fit in the village life, or he planted the turmoil with his nihilism, that is, the negation of everything and a contemptuous attitude towards principles, or simply bored everyone. He believed in one physiology and matter, and she overcame him: first, earthly love, then typhus.
And in the meantime, the rest of the village paradise lives sweetly: ladies gather flowers, gentlemen conduct intelligent conversations, and enjoy everything with life. Kirsanov Sr. has long been happy in love, and it's time to get married. Younger, too, love smiled, he found his Katenka ...
Two pairs, two weddings - and why should they quarrel, fathers and children? Let them live happily, they live.
Only the one to whom everything is not cute, who has always opposed everyone, tragically finished his life ...

“ I really liked the performance !. You see heroes descended from a book that stand two steps away from you! The actors are chosen just fine, each corresponds to his character. Perfacing Fenechka, performed by Natalia Palagushkina, appears on the stage. That's how I imagined it. And looking at Dunyasha, played by Olga Ergin, who is suffering from the heat on a hot summer day, you believe her 100%. Odintsova (Natalya Korennaya) also seemed to have just left the page of the book! The acting was beyond praise! Very funny scenes were with Princess Olga (Actress Lyudmila Ivanilova) They laughed from the soul. It was interesting to watch the skirmishes of Nikolai (Alexander Shavrin) and Pavel (Eugene Paramonov). The actors just lit. During the performance, I experienced all the emotions, and laughter, and tears. I was touched by the play of Yuri Sokolov (fathers of Bazarov) and Alexandra of Rovensky (Bazarov's mom) With what warmth, with what love they treated their Yenusha. At the Pope Bazarov, even tears in his eyes were drawn when he spoke of his son and his son! Well, when Bazarov died, the scene with my parents caused tears already in me. Also there was a big return from the main characters of Sergey Belyaev (Bazarov) and Makar Zaporozhye (Arcadia). Belyaev managed to convey Bazarov's character to an intelligent man, a strong personality, persistently following his convictions. And Makar Zaporozhye even looks like Arkasha Kirsanov, as I imagined him as a child. Kind at heart, loving his family, comfort and peace, but temporarily taken under the influence of Bazarov, trying to portray himself as a nihilist. Arkadiy was inclined to oratory, was eloquent, knew how to convince and Makar Zaporozhye managed to convey this. Well done, young actors, well done deserved! Bravo! On bows I wanted not to slam, but to stomp, from emotions, although for some reason the audience was somewhat sluggish. I will definitely go again !!!
“ Watched yesterday, April 18, 2015, the play "Fathers and Sons." Liked. And very. All. Both the unusual decoration and the audience hall sit on the entire length of the stage, as if among the artists, everything is so close, even the smell of a tree from which the veranda and the floor of an imaginary manor are put together. It's not Turgenev's "Fathers and Children", it's a play based on the Turgenev novel, translated into Russian. She is essentially closer to Chekhov's stories, Bazarov is a nihilist, but above all he is a man who does not believe in love as such. Everything in the play is thought out to the last detail. Starting from the beginning - when Fenechka-Palagushkina comes out, and then softly begins to sound through the singing of birds, and the light over the audience slowly fades away, and the illumination of the stage intensifies, thereby showing the beginning of the morning, heat, summer ... Cool. They play all perfectly. What more experienced artists that young people. The play is new, but already played, the inner workings of each character are directly felt, from which there are no sagging or pauses, even if the characters are silent, you directly feel their internal assessments of what is happening there, in this scenic history. Pavel Kirsanov is very good, his brother is wonderful - Father Arkady, Nikolai, bustling and kind. The image of Bazarov is quite interesting. The actor played great. In general, the show really liked it. Looked only yesterday, but I want to repeat it. I will definitely go again. The theater is a living miracle, next time there will be new accents, new nuances, so it's always interesting to review. Thank you for a great evening, my favorite Mayakovsky Theater!
“ Unhurried, thoughtful, very beautiful performance, from him and howles the xix century. A stream flows, birds sing, flowers everywhere - on the stage a wooden verandah is built, it seems that you were in quite a different world ... But! Still, this is a play on Turgenev's "Fathers and Children", and you expect dramatism from him, a heat of passion, heated debate, passion! Unfortunately, in this scenic version, the main storyline - Bazarov's struggle with himself - is very blurry. Most likely, the reason for this is the weak play of the actor, who plays the role of Bazarov. He even looks like anybody, but not Bazarov. He could play Onegin, Lensky, even Pechorin, but Bazarov did not turn out at all! Because of this, the entire performance is very much lost.
