Story

Director Mikhail Rakhlin will present to the public the play "Jolly Times" based on the Hollywood comedy "Ninochka", filmed in 1939. His heroes, Soviet emissaries, come on orders from the party to Paris to sell the jewels that were nationalized after the revolution, but a beautiful life in the capital of capitalistic France will literally intoxicate them. To bring the matter to an end, a harsh party worker Nina Yakushev is sent to them from Moscow.
