"The Teacher of the XXII Century"

Extravaganza. Victor Olshansky

The play "The Teacher of the XXII Century" based on a fantastic play by Victor Olshansky is a funny, touching and instructive story for children of any age.

The events of the performance unfold in the technogenic world of the future, in which there is no room for human feelings. Television completely paralyzes the will, and children in schools are taught humanoid robots.

The main character - a pretty 14-year-old blunder - is buying a new robot series "Teacher". And suddenly it was in her face that a teenager, suffering from misunderstanding and loneliness, finds a real friend, because under the guise of a soulless machine lies a living woman who always dreamed of being a teacher.

"Teacher of the XXII century" - a performance about true friendship and dedication, about spiritual sensitivity and attention to their loved ones.

"The teacher is my first ..." And if she is a robot?

Someone from the greats said that in young years it does not matter what to learn, it is important - who. But in the world of ultra-high technologies, this has been forgotten.

The father of the boy disappears in the office from morning till night. Mom watches so many shows on the "box" that TV presenters are already recognizing her face.

The schools were closed, the teachers were dispersed. Children learn at home - so it is more convenient. Each child is assigned a personal teacher-robot. He is able to answer any questions.

Only can a complex machine become a true friend to the student? Moreover, this fourteen-year-old boy is very lonely.

He knows that cars are never wrong. But his robot is completely different. The robot can not empathize and sympathize.

So who is teaching the boy? A new technological miracle or a man "dressed up as a machine"?

“ An excellent performance THE COLLEGE OF THE XXII CENTURY in the Stas Namin Theater for teens from the age of 10 (not earlier). The play makes us think about the prospects of our "frenzied pace of life" and evaluate what awaits our children and grandchildren in the near future.
