The performance was based on two great works by Chekhov, Bear and Proposal. To say that - it is ridiculous, to say nothing. And it does not matter whether you like Chekhov as ardently as inveterate theater-goers love - you will laugh in this performance ten minutes after the start and you can calmly breathe only after going out to the bow - to the endless applause of the hall. In this performance, everything coincided: a phenomenal variety of human types, played in two acts by the same actors, demonstrating a huge range of characters that are diametrically opposed in essence. In the two funny stories told by Chekhov, the grotesque, absurd dialogue of characters develops into a duel, which becomes a duel of hearts. In the performance, staged by Alexey Kiryushchenko, one of the best comedians of our days, the audience will be attracted by the dynamic intrigue and variety of manifestations of human qualities - from heavy rudeness to heartfelt lyrics.

"Bear"

The landowner Popova - a young widow, a recluse, devoted to the memory of her beloved husband, is waiting for - it will not wait for the one who will deliver her from eternal mourning and a vow of loyalty. She is waiting for the Real Knight, Prince, romantic hero to appear in her house! But I am - a rude, misogynist, a collector of cash debts, a duelist, ready to shoot with the heroine! ...

"Sentence"

The quivering lover and lyric, the landowner Lomov, hurries to declare his love to his neighbor on the estate, Chubukova. The bride's father, Stepan Stepanovich, is glad that the groom has finally been found for his magnificent daughter. The bride tenderly waits for gentle words from the groom. However, the groom is timid, he is experiencing nervous seizures - from shyness and embarrassment. Word for word ... The conversation of lovers begins so peacefully, but from an explanation to an aggressive cry and an insult is one step! All yours - in a faint and dizzy state!
