One artist can perform several roles. The action itself is very dynamic. ⠀ Interestingly resolved scenery. On the huge white canvases, we see video projections, sometimes quite unexpected. ⠀ In the performance, all conditions are created so that the artists can show themselves from all different sides. I really liked the scene in which Sergey Khachaturov turns from a young boy into a respectful Mr. Vincencio, and he even has a dialogue with himself). ⠀ Artists are very actively interacting with the audience, constantly turning to it. ⠀ I was able to impress two artists. Anastasia Privalova, who played the role of Tranio, servant of Lucentio. I have been watching her play for a year now in a variety of theaters. And every time she surprises me. Bright, dynamic, lively. I can not explain with words, I just want to look at it. ⠀ And I liked the way Anton Strelyaev played, who played the role of Petruccio, Katharina's fiancé. Among all the artists involved, he has the best diction. He is very charismatic and emotional. ⠀ The performance left a positive impression) I was able to see one of my favorite works in a completely new way.

The production is a kind of established tradition that is embodied in the Academy on the basis of the works of the great classics of A.P. Chekhov and I.A. Bunin. The performance-designer is a literary and scenic collage consisting of nine works of great classics ("Kuma", "Muse", "Autumn", "Ida", "Misfortune", "Princess", "Joke", "Ms NN Story "," Wives of artists "), demonstrated to the viewer in an unusual format of open rehearsal.
"Metamorphosis" is a certain kind of brand of our Academy. This year we are releasing "Metamorphoses-II" and again we are dealing with the great Russian prose of Chekhov and Bunin. Every year we appeal to these writers, trying to express on the scene the entire atmospheric depth, so inherent in their creativity. We deliberately do not take dramaturgic works, in which a certain premise of the plot and the plot was originally laid. It is more interesting for us, as it were, from the air, out of nowhere, to materialize and stage the subtle strings of relationships between the characters and the character of the relationships between the Buninsky and Chekhov heroes. Despite all the transparency of this prose, but rather for this very reason, this task is articulate, but extremely fascinating, and most importantly - incredibly useful for actors trying to find new opportunities and shades of acting, "notes the director of the play Nikita Mikhalkov.
Directors of the thesis: Honored Artist of Russia Igor Yatsko, teacher of the Academy Vera Kamyshnikova, actor, director Alexander Koruchekov. Production designer - Yuri Cooper.
