"RRR" is an abbreviation for which the name of the protagonist of the play and Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment" - Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov - is easily discernible.

This "snarling" and alarming name corresponds very precisely to the emotional sound of the performance of the Mossovet Theater, in which the story of a former student who imagines himself a superman familiar from the school bench and ideological reasons for killing an old woman-interest woman, and her sister at the same time, is told by the playwright Yuri Eremin in many ways in a new way.

Director, he is the author of the play and the artist of the production, does not engage in moralizing, does not fall into the pathos of condemnation and mentors' tone. He forces the viewer to closely watch the detective events of the play, leading his own "soulful" investigation.

Eremin introduces to the play never before the texts that were taken out of the novel, and many of the characters appear in an unusual light for theatrical tradition. First of all, this concerns the main characters and main antagonists of the play

Raskolnikov and the investigator Porfiry Petrovich, who is leading his case, in the beautiful performance of Alexei Trofimov and Victor Sukhorukov.

A wise and kind investigator quickly reveals the brutal crime committed in the foggy St. Petersburg.

The drama of the merciless murder of the old woman-interest woman and her sister is developing swiftly, as it should be a good detective.

The play is sad, but the beautiful acting game gives it the sensation of some fabulous vague dream, from which the sisters are about to wake up, that's what brother understands ...
