In Moscow, this play was played by Armen Jigarkhanyan and Irina Kupchenko, Oleg Tabakov and Olga Yakovleva, Vladimir Menchov and Vera Alentova. In St. Petersburg theater-goers remember well the wonderful lyric performance \"Love Letters\" performed by Andrey Tolubeev and Ekaterina Maroushak.

Director Ekaterina Gorokhovskaya chooses another way. On the role of Andy and Melissa, she takes two young actors, and this gives the play an unexpected sharpness and depth. Disappears some \"tabloid\", characteristic of the play, sentimentality and melodramatic. \"Love letters\" performed by Arina Lykova and Mikhail Kasapov become a desperate love story as an eternal duel between a man and a woman. Arina Lykova and Mikhail Kasapov tell the story of true Love with utmost frankness and honesty, and the conventionality of the stage design and the way of actor's existence provide the play with a sharp modern sound.

German actor, director and playwright Ulrich Hub turned to the plot of the Flood. On its basis, the playwright created a parable of friendship, love of neighbor, faith and unbelief, which immediately won recognition and won the prize as Germany's best play. However, her problems turned out to be so much wider than the framework of the children's play that the play \"The Ark of the Eight\" with great success put \"adult\" theaters in Europe and Russia.

Young artists of the theater \"Workshop\" play a dynamic, audacious and ridiculous performance, in which, without edification and moralizing, they cheerfully and unobtrusively seek answers to questions that concern many.
