MOSCOW STATE THEATER OF THE CLASSICAL CHOREOGRAPHY LA CLASSIQUE BALLET
It was founded in 1990 by the Union of Theater Workers of the USSR.
The theater is headed by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts

Artist and designer by education, he was invited to lead the ballet theater of the classical choreography "LA CLASSIQUE" as director and artistic director from its very founding, and for more than 28 years has been its permanent leader.
At the present time in the playbill of the theater there are such pearls of classical ballets as Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Don Quixote, and many others performances of the classical ballet repertoire.
Over the years many famous dancers, choreographers and teachers performed and collaborated with the La Classique Theater. Among them were Nadezhda Pavlova, Lyubov Kunakova, Alexander Bogatyrev, Lyudmila Semenyaka, Viktor Eremenko, Alla Mikhalchenko, Nina Semizorova, Irina Pyatkina, Ruslan Pronin, Nikita Dolgushin, Alexander Prokofiev, Serge Manget and many others.
Currently, the troupe has more than 60 professional ballet dancers. Annually conducts selection of young and talented specialists, which allows the theater to set itself the most complex creative tasks.
The theater has staged such unique ballets as "Coppelia" and "Merry Widow".
The troupe of the theater conducts active tour activity both in Russia and abroad.
Active tour activities and the richest repertoire allowed the theater to become one of the most recognizable in Europe and to earn recognition of its viewers in Italy, Switzerland, France, Austria, Norway, China, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Britain, Ireland, Egypt, Poland, Gabon, Argentina and Brazil.
