Chronicle of non-family life
It is almost impossible to pinpoint the genre of this play - a bitter comedy or a funny drama? As life itself does not fit into any framework, where both tears, and a smile, and hope, and despair are so intertwined.
And the story is simple. An American of Russian origin Stephen lives in a luxury villa near Moscow and is treated for an unknown disease. Or not healed, but simply pretends to justify his disgusting character.
With him in the house live Sick and the Doctor. Stephen is unbearable, capricious, and the Nurse is going every day to escape from this profitable, but unbearable work. The doctor is more tolerant, he will soon leave for the US to become an American doctor, and there he will quickly forget about this last work in his homeland.
Gradually we understand that all three are not needed by anyone in this world, and only in this house, as on the Sinking Titanic, they can support each other for some time.
"Love accidentally raises when you do not expect it at all ..."
A rich American in years is being treated for an unknown disease, exhausting the naughty nurse of a nurse.
They live in a villa near Moscow. An old grumbler, a well-bred middle-aged woman and a sick doctor.
Rich of boredom decided to play with the nurse in an unusual game. He will be a loving husband, and she is a faithful and caring wife.
It turns out that the old stump, the former sailor, and now the American millionaire, once left the USSR and left for the United States along the Jewish line.
Now in Russia he does not like everything, except for beautiful women. How can you be so frustrated?
He suggests that the nurse arrange a marriage. I agree and on the wedding - first in the synagogue, and then in the Orthodox church. He likes beautiful ceremonies.
The nurse is perplexed, then agrees. She needs money so much to pay off debts! There's nothing to be hoped for. She is ready to marry anyone.
Lovely curses, just play. Is the ridiculous relationship of two single people can develop into a great feeling?
Or is one of them deceiving the other?
Whether a comic drama, or a sad comedy ... Laughter through tears.
“ Yesterday we saw the "Paper marriage". We just love it. The game of Yakovlev, Spivakovsky and Yatsko is beyond praise. A beautiful play, an amazing performance. I recommend to all.
“ Before going to the play, I read the testimonials. All of them are truthful, but they could not prepare me for the impression that I received from the play! He impressed me with the depth of the banal, in general, the plot. And the main merit in this belongs to the magnificent ensemble of actors. Thank you for the feelings that all viewers experienced, we became a little kinder and better.
“ A wonderful performance, won the game actors Elena Yakovleva, Daniil Spivakovsky and Valery Garkalin! Clever, delicate, funny, sad and touching play. Everything is like in life, laughter through tears! I recommend!
