“Carroll Without Alice” is the final work of the first theater laboratory of MTK.NEXT, which outlined a new direction - performances for teenagers based on works by contemporary authors. The first two performances - “Floury Babies” E. Fain and “Clever” M.-O. Muray - became consonant with many viewers.
In the new play, professor of mathematics Charles Lutwich Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll, is trying to solve a puzzle in which a logical game turns into an absurd, at first glance, journey in the opposite direction. The plot zigzags of "Alice in Wonderland" the author is looking for a path to himself, to his own dreams, fears and fantasies. How to find a way out of the maze, learn to hear the inner voice and not be afraid to remain yourself? Carroll without Alice offers the thoughtful viewer the opportunity to look for answers.
