RUSSIAN PREMIERE!
First staging of John B. Keane's play "The Field" in Russia! John B. Keane is considered one of the greatest Irish playwrights. He has written many bestsellers that have made his name famous outside of Ireland. The play "The Field" by John B. Keane was first performed in 1965. It tells the story of the Irish farmer "Bull" McCabe, who breaks the law for the love of a small piece of rented land. For generations, the McCabe family has been working on the farm and rebuilding a lifeless field. And when the widow of the owner of this site decides to sell it at auction, then "Bull" is sure that only he has the right to it. But he was not the only one who "laid eyes" on this area. American William Dee also intends to acquire the Irish field.
