The play features the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann, Claude Debussy, Fanny Mendelsohn, Dmitry Shostakovich
Autobiographical prose is dedicated to the childhood of Marina Tsvetaeva and the main person of her childhood - the mother of Maria Alexandrovna Tsvetaeva. Mother is a brilliant pianist who dreamed of prolonging herself in children. A dream that has not been tragically fulfilled. But her perseverance and music, which she was full of, gave other shoots. This is the story of the origins, the birth of Marina Tsvetaeva - the poet. Only by plunging into this childhood saturated with music can one understand where from her poetry are such strong images, an obvious rhythmic pattern, an obvious rebellious character. “All my non-music is just another music! So the sea, leaving, leaves the pits, first deep, then shallowing ... and these musical pits - traces of the maternal seas - remained in me forever, ”wrote Tsvetaeva. The performance is full of a game of images - musical and visual, full of unusual characters - from the Metronome to the spinning Stool, and, of course, full of music - live, real, flooded the whole story and its witnesses.
