The international contest "Operetta Land" was created by the People's Artist of Russia Gerard Vasiliev in 2007 and was conceived as a kind of "fair for young actors", because the jury "Operetta Land" directors of the best musical theaters in Russia, as well as theater managers from countries near and far abroad.
