"The Tale of Tsar Saltan" Chamber Musical Theater "El Art"
There is a lot of humor and fun in the fairy tale of the El Art theater, it gives not only a lot of positive emotions, but also the opportunity to think about something important and serious, because, as you know, "the fairy tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it ..."
The authors have preserved the original poetic text of A.S. Pushkin, supplemented it with folk songs and dances of the 17th-19th centuries. Soldier's, wedding, ritual and everyday songs are accompanied by Russian folk instruments. Lubok, Palekh painting and other types of applied arts, which have adorned the life of Russians for more than one century, are reflected in the set design and costumes of the performance.
This performance is a great opportunity to give children to feel the beauty and imagery of their native speech, to touch various layers of musical folklore and feel the unique magic of a fairy tale told by the great A.S. Pushkin.
