The performance "Sleeping Beauty - Little Marie", based on the ancient French fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" by Charles Perrault, will tell young viewers how true feelings and good thoughts resist the evil machinations of the forest fairy - Jeanette.
The King and Queen dreamed of a child - the heir to the throne - a boy or a girl. Having learned about this, the good Fairy of the forests - Babette, decided to come to the rescue and fulfill their desire. The happy parents threw a big feast for joy and invited Babette in gratitude, but Jeannette was not invited because of her nasty character. The capricious fairy could not forgive such an act and, offended by the King and Queen, said that the girl at sixteen would prick her hand with a spindle and die. Kind Babette could not completely undo such a bad spell, but she promised that the princess would not die, but would fall asleep for a hundred years and wake up from the fact that the prince would kiss her.
And although the king ordered to destroy all the spindles in the kingdom, when the princess grew up, she found an old woman with a spinning wheel in the attic. The girl was surprised at such an unknown thing to her as a spindle, took it in her hands and injected. At the same moment she fell asleep. But the brave prince, who sincerely fell in love with Princess Marie, was able to break the evil spell of the dark forces and free the girl.
The story of "Little Marie" is a story that everything is surmountable. Only true love is capable of conquering all obstacles and awakening, even in a weak person, strong feelings.
