Premiere

On December 9, the premiere of a completely new version of the classical operetta Silva (also known as the Queen of the Czardash) will take place on the stage of the Hermitage Theater. The love story of the prince and the famous cabaret singer Silva Warecki is, above all, a drama that unfolds in the intellectual atmosphere of a new type of theater - a cabaret theater. The production of Honored Artist of Russia Zhanna Terteryan is based on a new reading of the score by Imre Kalman, arranged by Alexander Baraev. Choreography by Ivan Fadeev. Scenography by Igor Kapitanov and costumes by Natalia Spasskaya. The action takes place in Hungary in the 30s of the XX century. The production is occupied by the Moscow Operetta theater actor Nikolai Semenov.
