Yury Ioffe returns the dramaturgy of Edward Radzinsky to the repertoire of the Mayakovsky Theater. This time one of the early plays of the famous playwright "Making a Movie" (1965) will appear on the poster of Mayakovka.
The name itself is a pun. Make a movie - the profession of director. But these words have another meaning - to prohibit, “shoot.”
In the center of attention is the story of a young aspiring director who initially tries to overcome the creative crisis and make a worthwhile movie. In the process of shooting, he realizes that he was caught in a crisis not only and not so much creative as life, that the film needs to be shot completely about something else, that the only thing that matters is love.
